This role will be performed in a remote setting, allowing for flexibility while ensuring that clients receive high-quality care. Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct individualized and group therapy sessions, utilizing a variety of evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

  • Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, and primary care physicians to craft and implement comprehensive treatment plans tailored to client needs and treatment goals.

  • Provide crisis intervention services, responding promptly to clients in crisis and ensuring appropriate referrals to external support services, when necessary.

  • Maintain meticulous, confidential patient records and documentation that comply with HIPAA regulations to ensure client privacy and care continuity.

  • Engage actively in clinical supervision, staff meetings, and case conferences to refine clinical skills and enhance the diverse capabilities of our care team.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will involve working with adults and families experiencing a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. By adopting a holistic approach and being sensitive to the social determinants of health, you will empower clients to overcome obstacles and achieve their therapeutic goals.

Qualifications\n

  • A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • \n
  • Valid Social Work licensure in New Jersey.
  • \n
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in providing mental health counseling, with a preference for expertise in outpatient settings.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in implementing evidence-based therapeutic techniques and extensive knowledge of various treatment modalities.
  • \n
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with diverse populations and foster meaningful therapeutic relationships.

  • Ability to operate independently while also participating collaboratively within a diverse healthcare team.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience working within a community health clinic or similar environment is advantageous. Familiarity with electronic health record systems, telehealth platforms, and recent advancements in mental health treatment methodologies will enhance the effectiveness of the role.

Compensation and Benefits\n
