Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room (ER)

Location: Sonora, California
Department: Emergency Department
Job Type: Travel Contract

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room to join the Emergency Department team Sonora. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills and the ability to provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients experiencing emergency and acute medical conditions.

Schedule

• Shift: Night Shift
• Hours: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Provide rapid assessment and nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
• Respond effectively to emergency and critical situations.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
• Monitor patient conditions and accurately document care provided.
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
• Ensure safe, compassionate, and high-quality patient care.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Previous Emergency Room (ER) experience preferred/required
• Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced emergency environment
• Required certifications may include BLS and ACLS
