Emergency Department TechnicianOur client, a leading health system in Garden City, KS, is seeking an Emergency Department Technician to join their team. This role is essential in providing support to the emergency services department and ensuring the physical and emotional needs of patients are met.ResponsibilitiesPerform functions as delegated by the RN according to the Nurse Practice Act.Facilitate, communicate, and collaborate with the team to meet patient needs.Assist in providing care to patients in the emergency department.RequirementsOne year of healthcare experience (pre-hospital or ED or patient care) preferred.High School diploma or GED required.Graduate of an EMT-B program required.IV Therapy Certification required (IV Certification is not required for positions located in Utah).BLS (AHA) required.EKG Certification preferred.ScheduleFull Time position.Night shift.Compensation$16.00 - $23.00/hourBenefitsMedical, prescription drug, dental, and vision plans.Life insurance.Paid time off (minimum of 14 paid time off days, including holidays annually for full-time benefit eligible team members).Tuition reimbursement.Retirement plan benefits including 401(k) and 403(b).
