Nurse Practitioner, Emergency Medicine

IU Health Medical Group- Metro Region is hiring! We are seeking a patient focused Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our fast-paced and supportive Emergency Medicine team at IU Health North and Fishers Hospitals.


Position Details

• Full-time, rotating shift- days and nights
  • 10-12.5 hour shifts
  • 12-13 shifts per month
  • Weekend and holiday rotation
• No call

Key Responsibilities:

• Work independently in different areas of the Emergency Department including the main ED and observation unit.
• Provide acute care for all patient types; focused on lower acuity patients with potential collaborative care on higher acuity cases
• Perform bedside ER procedures

Qualifications:

• FNP or PA certifications required
• Emergency Medicine APP experience strongly preferred
• Will accept new graduates who have a strong EM background
