Pediatric Nurse

This position requires a night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a total of 36 hours scheduled and a guarantee of 24 hours. Weekend and holiday work may be required in accordance with departmental guidelines.

Job Requirements

• Must be a resident of the state of Arizona to be eligible for assignments.
• Navy scrubs are required for this role.
• Candidates must be willing to float between departments as needed.
• All candidates must be able to start on the listed date or no more than one week later.
• Requests for time off (RTO) cannot exceed 7 days total, and no RTO is permitted during the first week of assignment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 24 months of pediatric nursing experience, with recent experience within the last 12 months.
• Current life support certifications must be from an approved vendor: AHA, ARC, or ASHI.
• No negative hits on state license to practice.
• A valid driver's license is required for residency verification.
• Travel experience is highly preferred.

• Complete cover page detailing applicable criteria.
• Resume listing all facilities, departments worked, trauma level designations, and bed counts.
• Pediatric skills checklist completed within the last year.
• Active license to practice, verified within the last 30 days.
• Current BLS certification from an approved vendor.
• Current PALS certification from an approved vendor.
• Copy of driver's license.
