Pharmacist - Newburgh, IN

A full-time Pharmacist position is available to cover a maternity leave at a newly established 340B Pharmacy affiliated with an FQHC. This role offers an excellent opportunity for licensed pharmacists seeking a supportive environment with a focus on patient care and medication management.


This 13-week contract-to-hire assignment begins immediately, with the expectation of transitioning to a permanent role. In the permanent position, the pharmacist will work three days per week on a schedule complementary to the current pharmacist on leave.


Key Responsibilities:

• Perform final medication reviews and accuracy checks to ensure patient safety
• Provide counseling to patients, enhancing understanding and adherence to medications
• Supervise and oversee pharmacy technicians to maintain workflow efficiency
• Accurately dispense medications following established protocols and safety standards

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active and clear Indiana Pharmacist license is required
• Experience working within a 340B pharmacy setting is highly preferred but not mandatory
• New graduates are encouraged to apply and training on the PioneerRX software system will be provided

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• No holidays or weekend shifts required
