We combines distribution, engineering, technical services, and industry expertise, employees can contribute to solving real operational and technical challenges for customers.Job Type: Full TimeLocation: Dallas, TexasPay: Competitive Pay & Benefits!Job DescriptionWhat you will be doing:Directly participate in sales efforts to close orders.Coordinate fluid power sales and systems with various branches and regional managers.Identify target accounts and prospects.Work with the marketing team to produce marketing materials and events promoting fluid power.Provide marketing suggestions for social media posts and other digital content.Utilize AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and manufacturer-provided software.Provide advanced-level technical application support via phone, video conference, or in person.Stay current on new products and technologies and educate customers and Purvis team members about these new developments.Determine final disposition of warranty claims and work with suppliers to resolve difficult cases.Produce and present technical training for customers and Purvis team members about hydraulic and pneumatic fluid power.Other duties as assigned by management.Experience you will need:Strong knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic fluid power, engineering principles, and creative problem-solving.Strong customer service and communication skills.Strong work ethic and attention to detail.Ability to read and understand technical drawings.Proficiencies: Microsoft Office, Teams.Good driving record.Prefer a B.S. in Engineering or Mechatronics or equivalent experience.Five (5) years of hydraulic and pneumatic fluid power experience.
