Tax Manager

Our client, a leading and highly desired organization in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Tax Manager to join their dynamic team. As a Tax Manager, you will be an integral part of the finance department supporting the company's tax strategy and compliance efforts. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, proactive problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Tax Manager

Location: Remote (US Based Only)

Pay Range: $ 120,000 - $180,000 (W2) - Depending on Experience

What's the Job?

• Support, monitor, and develop the organization's federal income tax strategy to optimize tax benefits and minimize liabilities.

• Oversee the implementation, documentation, and continual improvement of US income tax accounting and compliance processes.

• Coordinate and review US federal and state income tax provision computations ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

• Manage US income tax filings, deadlines, and related recordkeeping obligations.

• Lead and support tax audits, including data collection, analysis, and communication with tax authorities and external consultants.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance, or related field.

• Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in income tax, preferably with a public accounting firm or global company.

• Strong leadership, mentoring, and process management skills.

• Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex tax concepts clearly.

• Experience with tax compliance software such as OneSource, ProSystems, or Corptax, and familiarity with financial systems like SAP or Hyperion.
