You will work closely with the doctors and leadership team to ensure the practice operates efficiently, delivers exceptional patient care, and consistently meets its goals.The ideal candidate is an experienced dental leader who is organized, proactive, solutions-oriented, and passionate about building a strong team and a successful practice.ResponsibilitiesOperationalOversee the day-to-day operations of the dental office and ensure the practice runs smoothly and efficiently.Drive growth in general dentistry, hygiene, specialty services, production, and collections.Monitor key performance metrics and hold the team accountable for achieving practice goals.Review financial and operational reports and identify opportunities for improvement.Manage billing, collections, insurance processes, and accounts receivable.Ensure accurate financial reporting and support the practice in achieving monthly and annual financial goals.Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and welcoming office environment.Oversee office supplies, equipment, facilities, and vendor relationships.Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, Dental Board regulations, and insurance requirements.Lead efforts to improve patient satisfaction and resolve patient concerns professionally and effectively.Create and maintain efficient systems and workflows that improve both the patient and employee experience.Work closely with doctors and leadership to identify opportunities to expand services and increase practice performance.Personnel & LeadershipLead, coach, and develop the dental team to achieve individual and practice goals.Recruit, interview, onboard, and train new team members as needed.Manage staffing levels and approve employee schedules, time off, and vacation requests.Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback and coaching.Foster a positive, accountable, and collaborative team culture.Address employee relations issues promptly and professionally.Ensure team members understand their responsibilities, performance expectations, and practice goals.Motivate the team to meet or exceed production, collection, scheduling, and patient experience goals.Partner with doctors and clinical leaders to ensure quality patient care and operational efficiency.Lead by example and create an environment where team members feel supported, valued, and motivated to succeed.RequirementsMinimum 3–5 years of dental office management experience preferred.Strong understanding of dental office operations, scheduling, insurance, billing, and collections.Experience with Open Dental Software is a plus.Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.Experience tracking KPIs, managing budgets, and achieving financial goals.Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.Ability to build and maintain strong patient and employee relationships.Comfortable taking ownership of the overall performance of a dental practice.Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with doctors and leadership.Spanish language proficiency is a plus.CompensationCompetitive salary $32-36/hr, based on experience.Monthly bonus opportunities tied to practice performance and revenue.BenefitsHealth and Dental InsuranceRetirement PlanMonthly BonusesPaid Time OffIf you're a confident dental leader who loves people, thrives on accountability, and wants to help build an exceptional practice, we'd love to meet you.
