Radiology Technician

Job Description Job Description The Radiology Technician will primarily operate X-ray and CT scan imaging modalities to support diagnostic processes. This role involves performing vital signs assessments and EKGs, ensuring radiation safety, and delivering quality patient care with moderate patient contact. The technician will report directly to the Department Manager and is expected to collaborate within the team without travel requirements. Responsibilities Operate X-ray and CT scan imaging equipment Run laboratory tests and monitor vital signs Perform EKG procedures Ensure compliance with radiation safety standards Provide quality patient care with moderate patient interaction Collaborate effectively within the healthcare team Report findings and maintain accurate records for the Department Manager Preferred Qualifications 1+ years of experience in radiologic technology State-specific radiology license Proficient in X-ray imaging and CT scanning Knowledge of radiation safety protocols Patient care experience Familiarity with medical terminology Strong attention to detail Effective communication skills Ability to collaborate within a team
