Licensed Psychologist

Above and Beyond Therapy is seeking a licensed psychologist to lead our evaluation services for children suspected of having autism in North Carolina. This is an ideal role for a candidate with an interest in assessment and diagnosis of autism and other developmental disorders.

What you will be doing as a licensed psychologist at ABT:

• Conduct standardized assessments for autism evaluations including but not limited to: ADOS-2, CARS-2, ASRS, BASC-3, Vineland-3, DAS-II, DP-4 (training will be provided as needed)
• Write diagnostic evaluation reports based on interpretation of test results
• Provide diagnostic findings, recommendations, and feedback for families based on assessment results, and in collaboration with regional psychologist
• Some travel within the region is required

What you will bring:

• Applicants must have completed their doctorate degree in clinical, counseling or school psychology and be licensed in NC.
• Experience with psychological assessment of children, preferably with autism and other developmental differences
• Previous education in developmental disorders and related differential diagnosis
• Excellent written communication skills and attention to detail
• Natural ability to connect with children and parents.
