Agency Account Manager As an Agency Account Manager at WP Engine, you will partner with agencies to grow their WordPress business, achieve monthly revenue quotas, and deliver exceptional client experiences. Key Responsibilities Uncover growth opportunities and provide consultative solutions to agency partners. Maintain strong, regular account reviews to ensure agencies derive maximum value from WP Engine services. Develop and execute strategies to expand the client portfolio in alignment with the North American financial plan. Build, manage, and close pipelines consistently to exceed quota. Coordinate proposals, product alignment ideas, and training sessions with clients. Collaborate with the solution engineering team to ensure optimal technical fit. Forecast accurately and manage business using Salesforce.com. Coordinate with leadership to win new business and provide timely deal updates to senior management. Represent WP Engine’s consultative sales and account‑management process throughout the client lifecycle. Maintain a hybrid work schedule; meet in the Austin, TX office on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Required Qualifications Minimum 2+ years of direct sales experience with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding individual quotas. Demonstrated success in leading partner portfolios and driving month‑over‑month growth. Strong consultative selling skills to uncover customer needs and match appropriate solutions. Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities with multiple executive stakeholders. In-depth understanding of industry trends, business practices, and competitive landscape. Self‑motivated, energetic, and able to thrive in a complex, multifaceted environment. Experience with HubSpot or Salesforce CRM platforms.
