Heavy Field Service Technician

Hugg and Hall Equipment Company is looking for someone with mechanical knowledge and customer service skills to join our team. We are a full-service equipment company specializing in industrial and construction equipment since 1956.

About The Position

Heavy Field Service Technicians function as part of the Service Team and are responsible for the repair of heavy-classed industrial, construction, and material handling equipment.

In This Role, You Will:

• Travel to customer locations to troubleshoot, perform in field diagnostic inspections, and repair a wide range of heavy construction equipment and components
• Continuously communicate in a courteous and effective manner with customers and co-workers including Salespeople, Coordinators, and Managers regarding job progress and general updates
• Maintain a safe working environment and observe all safety laws, policies and rules, both on-site and during the operation of DOT rated company vehicles

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of mechanical training/education, and/or experience in a related field
• Possessing or the ability to obtain a complete line of tools, including specialized tools needed to complete jobs at customer locations
• Minimum 21 years of age
• Clean driving record
• Ability to obtain DOT medical certification
• High school diploma or equivalent

Related experience may include: material handling technician, material handling mechanic, forklift mechanic, forklift technician, heavy construction mechanic, heavy construction technician, field service technician, field service mechanic, equipment mechanic, equipment technician, diesel tech, diesel mechanic.

This position is deemed a safety sensitive job for purposes of the Arkansas Medical Marijuana Amendment, the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana and Patient Protection Act, and the Louisiana Therapeutic Marijuana Act.
