Position Overview We invite you to become part of a collaborative team as a Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist . Here, you will apply your talents in diagnostic imaging while utilizing cutting-edge technology and working with a supportive group committed to providing outstanding patient care. Each ultrasound procedure will allow you to provide reassurance and clarity to patients through excellence in imaging. Description of Responsibilities
- Conduct a diverse range of ultrasound examinations, encompassing abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
- Prioritize patient comfort and safety, providing clear explanations of procedural steps with compassion
- Engage closely with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure the provision of superior diagnostic images
- Efficiently operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring it remains in optimal working condition
- Document procedures accurately and maintain patient records in a compliant electronic medical system
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in ultrasound technology and techniques
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a closely related field
- Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited sonography program is preferred
- Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent credentials
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
- Strong technical skills in performing sonographic imaging and patient positioning
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment
