Qualifications

Education & Qualification Requirements:

Current Registered Nursing (RN) License required
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited University required
Master's Degree from an accredited nurse practitioner program
Active registration as a Nurse Practitioner by the Texas Board of Registered Nursing
Certification from a national accrediting body, such as the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) (e.g. Family Nurse Practitioner, Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, etc.)
- Alternatively, eligibility within 90-days of hire
Active Nurse Practitioner Furnishing license
- Alternatively, eligibility within 90-days of hire
Active DEA number and "X" Waiver to prescribe buprenorphine products
- Alternatively, eligibility within 90-days of hire
Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Demonstrated experience and education in providing care for clients with mental health and substance use disorders.
Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Excellent communication skills
Basic computer skills
Must have valid Driver's License
Adept counseling abilities
Ability to coordinate with professionals from diverse backgrounds
Commitment to the philosophy of recovery and continuity of the program
Customer service oriented, professional attitude
Current TB Test, CPR/First Aid

Work authorization/security clearance requirements:

Valid Driver’s License
Must possess a current CPR and First Aid certification.
