• Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
• Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed hours
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,570 - $1,650
• Setting: Mixed medical-surgical unit
• Patient Ratio: 1:6
• Weekend Requirement: 4 weekend shifts per schedule, with every other week coverage
• On-Call Requirement: Twice per contract
• Float Requirement: May float to all Med/Surg units within the facility
• Start Date: 08/10/2026

Job Requirements

• Current RN license in good standing
• At least 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience required
• BLS certification required
• NIH certification required
• Basic arrhythmia knowledge required
• ACLS preferred
• Charge nurse experience preferred
• Ability to work independently while remaining a strong team player
• Flexible, organized, and adaptable to changing patient needs
• Epic EMR experience is helpful

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to medical-surgical patients
• Monitor patient status and respond appropriately to changes in condition
• Perform common Med/Surg procedures such as Foley insertion and central line dressing changes
• Administer medications and treatments according to provider orders and clinical standards
• Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to support patient care goals
• Document accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Support safe, efficient patient flow in a fast-paced acute care unit
• Adapt to floating assignments as needed within Med/Surg service lines
• Maintain a professional presence and contribute to a positive team environment
