Apparel Processing OutfitterTis the Season for Hiring!Are you looking for a fun seasonal position with the opportunity to earn extra money for the holidays AND enjoy our Outfitter Discount?Join us for our National Hiring Event:Wednesday, October 7th and Thursday, October 8th10 am – 7 pmBass Pro Shops, 101 Bass Pro Drive, Harlingen, TX. 78552, 956-291-5200Be prepared to interview for various positions on the spot!Apply prior to arrival to expedite the process at careers.basspro.comPOSITION SUMMARY: The Apparel Processing Outfitter is responsible for the overall processing of all apparel merchandise shipments from receipt of goods to stocking on Sales Floor & Receiving.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Effectively processes all apparel merchandise at time of receipt, adhering to all Visual Merchandising & MPS Standards, and utilizing the inventory management system. 50%Systematically replenishes merchandise to the sales floor as required per the Visual Merchandising Standards utilizing the inventory management system. 10%Remains knowledgeable of advertised sales to promote effective backroom organization and replenishment. 10%Unloads trucks as needed. 10%Assists with pricing maintenance and signage of merchandise. 5%Keeps work area clean, neat, organized and well stocked with supplies. 5%Ensure backstock merchandise remains organized and accessible. 5%Demonstrates exceptional customer service and ensures a pleasant shopping experience for all guests. 5%ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNEDEXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or EquivalentPreferred Degree: High School Diploma or EquivalentCertificate(s) or License(s): N/AYears of experience: 0KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:Ability to use company computer systems and devices such as System Two, RF/Gizmo devices & Point of Sale register system.Ability to process and organize information to include plan-o-grams, visual guides & merchandising standards.Ability to review replenishment reporting to organize merchandise to fill the sales floor.Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner to our customers and other outfitters.Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Management, co-workers and customers.TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:N/APHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Regularly walks, stands, and does computer work.Occasionally lifts up to 50 lbs.Seldom/Never sits.Additional Physical RequirementsAbility to use ladders and/or lifts as needed.INDEPENDENT JUDGEMENT :Performs tasks and duties under general supervision, using established procedures and innovation.
