Director of Client Services

Full job description Position summary Ensures that all clients are receiving appropriate services as contracted with placing agency. Represents Advantage Care Group at all client court proceedings. Addresses all client grievances. Works in conjunction with Program Manager and Residential Coordinator to ensure that all client based programs are working at an optimal level. Position qualifications Required: Bachelors Degree in Human Services or a minimum of 60 credits from an accredited college/university and 6 years experience. Experience in CASSP system and/or residential care preferred. All candidates must pass a required background check as outlined in The Background Check Policy in regards to Clearances and Certifications mandated by the State Department of Human Services, Federal guidelines, NSOR and possess a valid Driver’s License. Knowledge of computers and word processing software such as MS Word, Excel, and Office. Working Conditions Working environment is generally favorable; there is potential for adverse and/or hazardous events related to working with youth. Advantage Care Group is located in a private community setting. Physical Demands Walking or standing 2/3 of the workday. Sufficient mobility, coordination and body strength to safely restrain a child or adolescent. Ability to administer First Aid and CPR. Special Training / Skills Thorough understanding of age, cognition, and developmental stages of school age children. Effective communication skills and ability to quickly form trusting relationships with child/adolescent population. Attend and participate in all in-service training programs. Hours Directors will work 8‑hour shifts, preferably 8‑am to 5:00‑pm daily, however due to the nature of this position, there may be unforeseen occasions where the hours will need to be flexible and may exceed the 8‑hour shift providing continuous consumer supervision. Directors may be required in an emergency to be retained for a brief period after their regular shift.
