The unit includes 10 operating rooms. Staff consists of registered nurses and certified surgical technologists. There are 46 total staff members on this unit. The patient ratio is 1:1 during night shifts. The electronic medical record system utilized is Meditech. Candidates are expected to thrive in stressful situations. The position requires independent work capabilities. Typical procedures performed include kidney and liver transplants, as well as neuro and orthopedic cases. Candidates with transplant, orthopedic, or neuro experience will be prioritized. All travelers are expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with facility employees.
