Parking Enforcement Manager

Status: Full-Time

Schedule: Primarily daytime hours with flexibility based on operational needs

Job Summary

BrightBase Management LLC provides commercial parking management services in the Chattanooga market. The Parking Enforcement Manager leads daily parking enforcement operations and supervises enforcement personnel and event staff. This hands-on role ensures employees are supported, schedules are covered, parking rules are applied consistently, customers receive professional service, and minor equipment issues are addressed promptly.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Operations Management and Scheduling

· Manage, coach, and support parking enforcement personnel and event staff during daily operations.

· Plan work schedules, assign coverage, and adjust staffing for callouts, late arrivals, special events, and changing operational needs.

· Provide clear assignments, instructions, equipment, daily briefings, and operational updates.

· Monitor attendance, performance, appearance, conduct, and policy compliance; provide training, feedback, and appropriate documentation.

· Serve as the primary contact for employee questions, customer concerns, equipment problems, and operational issues or emergencies.

· Coordinate enforcement priorities, staffing needs, and unresolved operational concerns with the General Manager.

· Promote a professional, respectful, and safety-focused work environment.

Parking Enforcement and Customer Service

· Monitor enforcement activity to ensure parking regulations are applied fairly, accurately, and consistently.

· Support employees with customer disputes, vehicle-related concerns, and unusual situations; explain parking rules, rates, payment options, and citation procedures.

· Patrol and inspect garages, surface lots, loading areas, reserved spaces, and other assigned locations; issue parking notices when authorized.

Parking Equipment and Facility Support

· Inspect parking equipment for proper operation, cleanliness, and visible damage.

· Complete minor equipment service, including clearing ticket jams, replacing paper or receipt rolls, resetting equipment, and securing loose components.

· Report equipment failures requiring advanced repair and provide clear information to the appropriate manager or vendor.

Qualifications

· High school diploma or equivalent required.

· Previous management or supervisory experience required; experience leading 20-30 employees and creating work schedules preferred.

· Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record required.

· Parking operations, parking enforcement, valet, transportation, security, hospitality, or related experience preferred.

· Strong customer service, conflict-resolution, organization, and decision-making skills.

· Basic computer and mobile-device proficiency, with the ability to work independently in a busy environment.

· Dependable, highly punctual, and able to maintain energy and sound judgment during extended shifts.

Physical and Schedule Requirements

· Primarily available during daytime hours, with flexibility for early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, special events, and additional coverage as needed.

· Able to sit, stand, walk, and drive for extended periods and work indoors or outdoors in varying weather conditions.

· Able to climb stairs, bend, reach, kneel, and access parking equipment components.

· Able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
