Cloud Solutions Architect (Remote)

Salary: $123,000 - 163,000 per year Requirements:

• 15+ years of overall IT and technical experience, including substantial enterprise or cloud solutions architecture experience
• Demonstrated ability to design and implement complex cloud or enterprise technology solutions
• Hands-on experience managing and remediating vulnerabilities across applications and servers
• Experience in a highly regulated industry, such as banking, financial services, healthcare, or another environment with stringent security and compliance requirements
• Experience assessing existing technical architectures and developing practical solutions to complex design and security challenges
• Deep knowledge of architecture patterns, solution design principles, and enterprise architecture best practices
• Strong understanding of secure architecture design and security considerations across applications, infrastructure, and cloud environments
• Strong cloud architecture experience with AWS or Azure
• Ability to work effectively with engineering, infrastructure, cloud, and security teams and communicate architectural recommendations
• Preferred: extensive AWS cloud architecture experience
• Preferred: background in banking, financial services, or healthcare technology
• Preferred: experience designing or implementing network segmentation solutions
• Preferred: experience automating security controls, IAM processes, or vulnerability remediation
• Preferred: experience with Harness for deployment automation and delivery orchestration
• Preferred: experience supporting enterprise cybersecurity improvements or security modernization initiatives
• Preferred: familiarity with GitHub Copilot and AI-assisted development practices
• Preferred: IAM architecture experience, including access controls and identity-related security improvements

• Design secure cloud and enterprise technology solutions and guide their implementation to strengthen security posture
• Establish, assess, and apply proven architecture patterns and best practices in complex technology environments
• Identify, assess, and remediate security vulnerabilities across applications, servers, and supporting infrastructure
• Review existing architectures and recommend practical ways to reduce security exposure and improve consistency
• Partner with application development, infrastructure, cloud, and cybersecurity teams to design and implement remediation solutions
• Provide architectural direction for identity and access management, network segmentation, and enterprise security controls
• Develop scalable, reusable architecture solutions aligned with enterprise security and technology standards
• Identify opportunities to automate security controls, vulnerability remediation, and related technical processes
• Balance security needs with application functionality, operational considerations, and broader enterprise architecture goals

We are recruiting for a Senior Cloud Solutions Architect with our client, a large financial services organization. This is a 100% remote role focused on strengthening enterprise security through secure architecture, vulnerability remediation, and established cloud architecture patterns. Our client seeks an architect with deep enterprise architecture expertise and practical vulnerability management experience, particularly in applying effective architecture patterns rather than simply administering cloud environments. Compensation depends on factors such as education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, and business needs; the stated pay range may change.
