LHH Recruitment Solutions is searching an Accounting Coordinator for a contract (possible contract-to-hire) opportunity, working in an office, in downtown Richmond, VA and parking is provided.

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Accounting Coordinator to support financial, facilities, and administrative operations. This role is ideal for someone who excels in a fast-paced environment and delivers accurate, responsive service.

Responsibilities:

 Review and process expense reports, reimbursements, purchasing card transactions, vendor invoices, and bank deposits

 Verify coding, receipts, approvals, and policy compliance for financial transactions

 Prepare purchasing card records for accounting system upload and train new cardholders

 Coordinate building maintenance requests, service calls, and repairs

 Provide general administrative support and help maintain operational supplies

Qualifications:

 Experience in accounting, fiscal operations, or administrative support

 Working knowledge of bookkeeping and general accounting practices

 Strong organization, communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills

 Ability to manage changing priorities, work independently and collaboratively, and maintain confidentiality

 Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; experience with accounting or financial systems preferred

Contract Pay: $28 to $32 an hour, depending on experience

Hours: Monday through Friday, from 8 am to 5 pm
