The team is seeking an administrator to maintain RHEL and Windows servers for a research, Development, Test, and Evaluation network. Details below:Clearance: Secret clearance Location: San Diego, CA (100% onsite)This job opens for applications on 8/31/2026 Applications for this job will be accepted for at least 30 days from the posting date Responsibilities of the System Administrator: Administer and support Windows 11 and RHEL systems in a secure enterprise environment. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and maintain system availability. Develop and maintain PowerShell and Bash scripts to automate system administration tasks. Review and provide technical recommendations for infrastructure design and engineering initiatives. Harden Windows and Linux systems in compliance with DISA STIGs, IAVMs, CTOs, and security policies. Perform vulnerability remediation, patch management, and compliance validation. Support endpoint security through the implementation of security tools and best practices. Collaborate with engineering, cybersecurity, and operations teams to ensure secure and compliant configurations. Maintain hardware and software inventories and asset tracking records. Develop and maintain SOPs, technical documentation, and operational procedures. Manage equipment inventory, preparation, and shipment to remote personnel. Support system upgrades, technology refreshes, and infrastructure modernization efforts.
