Veterinary Technician Certified or Experienced (Surgical & Dental Focus) Join a Team That Makes a Difference Every Day Animal Care of Oradell is a progressive, privately owned small animal veterinary hospital dedicated to delivering compassionate, high-quality care. We are seeking a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT/LVT/RVT) or an experienced Veterinary Technician (minimum of two years in the field) to join our growing medical team. This position offers the opportunity to use your technical skills in a supportive, team-oriented environment with a strong emphasis on surgical and dental care. Certification is preferred, but candidates with proven hands-on experience in anesthesia, surgical support, and dentistry are encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities As a vital member of our clinical team, you will: Assist veterinarians with surgical procedures and anesthesia monitoring Perform dental cleanings and take dental radiographs Provide compassionate patient care and safe animal restraint Prepare patients for surgery and monitor recovery Administer medications and treatments as directed Collect and process lab samples Communicate effectively with clients regarding patient care and follow-up Maintain accurate medical records and assist with inventory management What We're Looking For Minimum of 2 years of veterinary technician or assistant experience Hands-on experience with anesthesia, surgery, and dental procedures Certification (CVT, LVT, or RVT) preferred but not required Strong communication and organizational skills Positive attitude, reliability, and a team-oriented mindset Compensation & Benefits Hourly pay: $20.00 - $25.00 (based on skill, experience, and certification) Monthly performance bonuses Continuing Education (CE) credits and professional development support Team-building events and a collaborative work culture Uniform allowance and tuition reimbursement Full Benefits Package Includes: 401(k) with employer match Medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off Employee pet care discounts Flexible scheduling Life insurance Why Animal Care of Oradell Since 2013, our practice has proudly served Oradell and surrounding communities with exceptional veterinary care.
