Position Overview

We are in search of a skilled and dedicated Sonographer / Ultrasound Technologist to enhance our already exceptional team of imaging professionals. Daily, you will utilize cutting-edge ultrasound technology to conduct critical diagnostic procedures, work alongside a nurturing team of medical experts, and provide reassurance to patients seeking clarity through precise and timely imaging.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct a range of ultrasound exams, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout procedures, providing clear and compassionate explanations
• Collaborate with radiologists and referring physicians to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Maintain and operate imaging equipment, promptly addressing any malfunctions
• Document procedures accurately and maintain comprehensive patient records in the electronic medical system
• Continually update your knowledge of advancements in ultrasound imaging and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is highly preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent body
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
