Job Title: Drug Manufacturing Technician / Screening Lab Technician I
Location: Santa Rosa, CA (Onsite)
Duration: 6 Months Contract
Schedule: Monday & Tuesday, 12 hours/week (approximately 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM; schedule subject to change)

Job Summary:
We are seeking an entry-level Drug Manufacturing Technician / Screening Lab Technician to support drug manufacturing and laboratory operations. This role involves operating manufacturing equipment, preparing drug formulations, aliquoting biological specimens, maintaining accurate documentation, and following cGMP and laboratory SOPs. Candidates must be detail-oriented, able to work independently or in a team, and comfortable handling biological specimens.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain drug manufacturing equipment.
• Weigh raw materials and active pharmaceutical ingredients accurately.
• Prepare and blend materials according to manufacturing procedures.
• Perform aliquoting of urine specimens for immunoassay testing.
• Receive, sort, label, scan, and process biological specimens.
• Verify specimen labeling and prepare samples for testing or storage.
• Complete batch records and laboratory documentation in compliance with cGMP and SOPs.
• Maintain a clean and organized laboratory/manufacturing environment.
• Use barcode scanners and computer systems for specimen tracking.
• Follow all safety procedures and complete required training.
• Work independently or collaboratively while meeting production deadlines.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to safely handle biological specimens.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to follow written procedures and SOPs.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Pharmaceutical, laboratory, diagnostic, or manufacturing experience.
• Aliquoting experience.
• Experience using barcode scanners.
• Basic Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
• Knowledge of cGMP/GMP practices.
• Experience with specimen processing or laboratory production.
