HVAC Service Project Manager

Snapshot / Role Overview
We're seeking an HVAC Service Project Manager in Orlando, FL to oversee commercial HVAC retrofit and service projects from planning through completion.

Impact

Deliver profitable service projects by managing budgets, schedules, and client expectations effectively
Drive client satisfaction through professional project execution and responsive communication
Coordinate cross-functional teams including technicians, subcontractors, and vendors to meet project milestones
Identify opportunities for additional service work and equipment upgrades during project execution

Responsibilities

Manage commercial HVAC service and retrofit projects from contract award through closeout
Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource plans to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery
Coordinate with service technicians, controls specialists, and subcontractors to execute work safely
Review and approve submittals, change orders, and project documentation
Conduct site meetings with clients and provide regular project status updates
Monitor project costs and take corrective action to maintain profitability targets
Ensure quality control and compliance with project specifications and codes
Closeout projects including final inspections, punch list completion, and documentation turnover

Requirements

Must-Haves
7+ years of experience in commercial HVAC service or construction
3+ years of project management experience with responsibility for budgets and schedules
Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC systems and equipment
EPA Universal Certification preferred
Excellent communication and client relationship skills
Proficiency with project management software and Microsoft Office

Nice-to-Haves
PMP certification or other project management credentials
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or construction management
Experience with building automation system retrofit projects
