Step into a rewarding contract opportunity working with preschool-aged students as a part-time speech-language pathologist (SLP). This position serves young learners on a preschool caseload, fostering development and supporting communication milestones at a pivotal time in their educational journey. The assignment spans from as soon as possible through the end of the school year, offering a consistent schedule of three days per week, 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM.

Ideal candidates bring expertise in pediatric and school-based settings, with the communication and collaboration skills to work closely with educators and families. Experience with IEP documentation and familiarity with electronic systems for managing student progress will be highly advantageous.

Key Qualifications:

• Hold an active New Jersey SLP license and Department of Education certification
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
• Strong background in pediatric SLP services, ideally within school environments
• Proficiency in crafting, implementing, and updating IEPs
• Comfortable managing a preschool caseload and tailoring interventions to young learners

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging speech-language therapy to preschool-aged students, focusing on individualized education plans
• Assess, diagnose, and document progress on speech and language disorders
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, participating in meetings and supporting IEP development
• Maintain clear, consistent communication with families and educators
• Utilize the schools IEP system to track goals and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
