Licensed Practical Nurse
ALAY Home Care is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse!
We need caregivers who are enthusiastic, motivated, dedicated and passionate about caring for others!
Pay Rate: $35 per hour
Location: Boonton, Morris
Schedule: Between 2:30 - 7:30 pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday (1 hour per day)
LPN Job Responsibilities:
- Plans and manages patient care according to each patient's needs.
- Obtains patient vital signs, including pulse, blood pressure, temperature, and respiration.
- Provides routine care for patients.
- Observes patients' health.
- Reviews medical charts.
- Communicates with patients and their families.
- Knows how to administer a G tube medication and nutrition
- Provides wound care.
- Prepares and administers injections and/or enemas.
- Assists with patient comfort.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma, Equivalent or Higher
- Valid CPR/First Aid Certification
- NJ LPN License
Training and Pre-screening:
- Criminal Background Check - Fingerprints
- Drug screening
- College of Direct Support - Online classes for DDD Certifications
Preferred:
- Vehicle for Community Transport
- 1 year Personal Care Experience
- 1 year Clinical Experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
