Park Gardens, a Lifespark Senior Living Community, is looking for a Cook/Chef to join our growing team! Park Gardens Senior Living is in Fergus Falls Minnesota across the street from Woodland Baptist Church on Skogmo Blvd. Our facility is a combination of Assisted Living, Independent Living, and Memory Care apartments. Our team is creative, fun, and most of all help our residents Age Magnificently, join our team today! Shifts: Part Time (10am-5:30pm), every other weekend included. Our Cook/Chef becomes family and impacts the lives of our residents who live in a Lifespark Senior Living Community. In this position, you will be responsible for preparing food in accordance with prescribed resident diet specifications, facility procedures, and dietary and sanitary regulations. Duties include:

• Prepare and serve food and meals in accordance with planned menus, diet plans, recipes, portions, and temperature control procedures.
• Direct and assist in cleaning and sanitizing work areas, equipment and floors, dishes, and utensils.
• Check all trays for menu and diet requirements and preference and accuracy.
• Ensure proper storage for food and supplies.
• Review and process diet changes and ensure menus are maintained and followed in accordance with established procedures.

Preferred Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a senior living setting is preferred.
• Must be able to relate professionally, positively, and cooperatively with residents, resident's families, and employees.
• Must possess advanced computer skills, including email use.
