Responsibilities Patient triage, perform injections, EKGs and phlebotomy Perform point of care testing (strep, influenza, COVID-19, mono, urine pregnancy, urinalysis) Dispense medications, perform other treatments Assist providers with procedures as needed Perform employer services (drug and alcohol testing, respirator fit testing, pulmonary function tests and more) Complete daily laboratory quality controls Complete patient call backs Register patients, answer the phone and other administrative tasks Qualifications Certified or registered as a Medical Assistant 3+ years of Medical Assisting experience Team player and ability to multitask Dependable and able to work all scheduled shifts Flexibility in scheduling is a must; able to work weekday shifts (8am – 8pm) and weekend shifts (8am – 5pm) Considerate making each patient feel welcomed and special Proficient in both verbal and written communication, possessing a clear, professional, friendly and positive demeanor Compensation $23.00 - $28.00 per hour A FC Urgent Care is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
