Body and Spine PT is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our team in Boulder City, Nevada. Work Environment

This role operates primarily in the home care environment, allowing you to deliver therapy directly in the patient's home, which is crucial for facilitating convenience and immediate application of therapeutic strategies. You will have the flexibility to engage with patients Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, ensuring a healthy work-life balance while contributing positively to community health.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical capabilities, including strength, mobility, and overall function, to establish baseline metrics.
• Utilize advanced diagnostic techniques, such as clinical assessments and functional movement screenings, to identify patient-specific treatment needs.
• Design and implement customized therapy programs aimed at restoring function and alleviating pain, integrating evidence-based practices and modalities tailored for individuals.
• Employ a variety of techniques including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, neuromuscular re-education, and specialized modalities based on patient conditions and goals.
• Educate patients and their families about effective rehabilitation strategies, injury prevention, and the importance of adherence to home exercise programs.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and case managers, to ensure comprehensive care planning and delivery.
• Maintain clear and effective communication with patients, families, and caregivers to facilitate a seamless transition through the rehabilitation process, tracking progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a varied patient population, primarily focusing on those recovering from orthopedic conditions and sports-related injuries. Your expertise will aid in the management of chronic conditions, post-surgical rehabilitation, and preventive care, enhancing patient mobility and functionality in daily activities.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Nevada is required.
• A Bachelor's or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree obtained from an accredited institution.
• Experience in orthopedic and sports medicine settings, demonstrating clinical competency and effectiveness in diverse treatment approaches.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential to build rapport with patients and team members.
• A genuine passion for helping patients achieve meaningful recovery and independence in their lives.
• Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a dynamic healthcare team.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a Physical Therapist, with a focus on rehabilitation within the orthopedic domain.

Compensation and Benefits

In recognition of the valuable contributions you will make to our team, we offer a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
