Your future role at a glance Location: Destin, FL Facility: Ascension Sacred Heart Emerald Coast Department: Respiratory Schedule: Rotating | Full - Time How you'll make an impact in this role Evaluate patients with respiratory insufficiencies to determine the appropriate type and frequency of treatments, developing a customized plan of care based on their specific diagnosis. Administer advanced respiratory care modalities, manage specialized equipment, and respond rapidly as a member of the emergency resuscitation code team. Continuous monitor, record, and communicate changes in patient condition; evaluate the effectiveness of practices, medications, and treatments based on patient outcomes. Educate patients and their families regarding their respiratory health conditions, while connecting them with community support groups and available care programs. What minimum qualifications you'll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Respiratory Therapist credentialed from the Florida Board of Respiratory Care obtained prior to hiredate or job transfer date required. Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
