Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN)
This is a full-time position for a Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Cath Lab, with a focus on adult patient care. The role requires expertise in cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology, and interventional procedures.
Schedule
- 40 hours per week
- Shift: 4x10 days from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- Includes 7 on-call nights per month, covering one weekend (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) and four additional nights
Unit Description
The Cardiac Cath Lab consists of two rooms equipped for various procedures including:
- Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI)
- Impella and balloon pump procedures
- Device implantations
- Ablations
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant nursing experience
- Experience in Cath Lab and EP Lab procedures
- Interventional cardiac and scrub experience required
Patient Population
This position specifically caters to adult patients requiring specialized cardiac procedures.
Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
Charting will be conducted using EPIC - Cupid system.
Certifications Required
- Active Massachusetts RN License
- American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification
