Nine states make up your delivery map on this Dollar Tree account, and every load starts at the distribution center in Cowpens, SC. You run regional freight to stores in South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, Kentucky, Virginia, West Virginia and Ohio. This is an active job. You hand-unload trailers using rollers, so it suits CDL-A drivers who like staying on their feet as much as being behind the wheel. Each week ends with a 34-hour reset at home. A Typical Week as a Truck Driver: On average, 3 loads per week Three stops per load An estimated 1,100 miles weekly Hand-unload freight at stores using rollers Backhauls to the DC are typically no-touch live loads Mileage pay Stop pay Home Time: Home weekly with a 34-hour reset Days off are either Friday night to Saturday or Saturday night to Sunday Truck Driver Equipment: Top-of-the-line sleeper trucks with automatic transmissions 53' dry trailers Take your truck home to park as long as the spot is safe and secure Live near Cowpens?
