Human Resources Intern - unpaid

Position Summary The HR Intern will work closely with the HR Generalist on special projects, including HR policy reviews, writing position descriptions, and leading the file scanning project. The intern will also collaborate on updating policies and training materials. Location This Internship is in-person at the office located at 3201 Tamarac Dr, Denver, CO. Responsibilities Transfer current employee files to digital files on SharePoint. Update wording to keep policies and procedures current. Ensure interview questions have a uniform format. Complete follow-up on performance reviews. Other Learning Opportunities Learn about hiring and orientations. Attend management training classes. Train on the understanding of leave policies for Colorado employees. Train on benefits and billing. Requirements Education: Enrolled in an accredited degree program. Experience: Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Word, SharePoint, and Excel. Experience: Effective written and oral communication skills. Experience: Ability to communicate professionally with staff, volunteers, and others. Experience: Good organizational skills. Experience: Detail-oriented.
