Persons with specific interest in leadership in inpatient palliative medicine are encouraged to apply.This non-tenure-track faculty appointment, expected to start as early as Fall 2025, will be made at a rank (Instructor, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, Professor) and salary commensurate with experience.Specific Duties and Responsibilities: We are seeking a physician to join our clinical and education-focused practice, which also supports research. Leadership opportunities exist for competitive candidates, and numerous educational opportunities are available in undergraduate and graduate medical education.The physician will join a well-established consultation service, provide clinical supervision to learners at all levels, serve as faculty for an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME)-accredited Hospice and Palliative Medicine fellowship program, enjoy teaching opportunities throughout the medical system, and maintain an active research program. Our practice includes a robust inpatient palliative medicine consult service serving a tertiary care hospital and community-based inpatient hospice unit.Minimum Qualifications:Applicants must be board-certified or eligible in Hospice and Palliative Medicine and eligible for licensure in the District of Columbia at the time of appointment.
