Position Summary The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for supporting a broad range of human resources functions, such as recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, policy administration, compliance, and other HR initiatives. This role is critical to ensuring all company policies and procedures are enforced consistently, accurate maintenance of employee files and documentation, and fostering a positive employee experience throughout the entire employee life cycle. Key Responsibilities & Expected Results Demonstrate safety as a core value and establish a safe work environment by actively leading the safe execution of work. Provide day-to-day guidance and support to line management in managing hourly employees, including coaching, counseling, career development, and disciplinary actions with a high level of confidentiality; elevate complex issues to HR Manager as appropriate. Foster a collaborative work environment by working closely with both management and hourly employees to improve work relationships, enhance morale, and drive productivity and retention across the workforce. Act as a primary point of contact for day-to-day transactional employee questions and concerns, leading by example of our open-door policy. Provide on-site support to employees for general benefit-related questions and resolve any benefit-related issues, ensuring compliance with company policies in collaboration with benefits team members. Support payroll processing, time and attendance systems, and scheduling for hourly employees. Ensure that all processes are in compliance with company policies. Recruiting, hiring, and onboarding new salaried/hourly employees, including posting job openings, conducting interviews, and administering the hiring process. Assist with HR reporting and auditing.
