Senior Systems Engineer, Radar Signal & Data Processing

Job Overview Lockheed Martin is shaping the future of defense through cutting‑edge radar and missile defense technologies. The RMS team in Syracuse, NY is looking for a Senior Systems Engineer to lead the design, analysis, testing, and requirements development and verification of high‑performance Radar Signal Processing systems. Responsibilities Lead the design, analysis, and testing of radar signal processing systems. Develop and verify system and software requirements. Conduct MATLAB simulation development and modeling. Apply model‑based system engineering practices. Location Lockheed Martin RMS, Syracuse, NY – onsite full‑time. Security Clearance Requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance at the Secret level. Work Schedule 4x10 hour days (40 hours per week) with 3 days off per week; onsite full‑time. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or related discipline. Five or more years of Systems Engineering experience. 3+ years of experience with MATLAB modeling. Experience developing system and software requirements and associated analysis and testing. Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance at the Secret level. U.S. Citizenship is required. Desired Skills: Master's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering. Experience with DOORs. Experience with SysML and MBE tools such as Rhapsody and Cameo. Experience with modeling, simulation and analysis of radar algorithms and radar scene environments. Systems engineering leadership experience. Experience with Gitlab. Compensation Annual base salary range: $89,300 – $157,550 (dependent on location).
