Overview Self-motivated individual with the ability to work independently. Performs full range of on-site maintenance, diagnostics, repairs and customer call assistance on assigned products (KM MFP and printers & Non-KM printers HP, Lexmark, etc.). Includes equipment installation/de-installations, configuring and troubleshooting networking issues (Printing and Scanning) on Windows/Mac OS, loading print drivers, cloning files, transferring address books, and firmware upgrades. Travel locally on a daily basis to various customer sites while managing territory work volume and maintaining a high level of customer communication and satisfaction. Occasional travel outside of the local area for training. Communicate with management on customer or field issues; complete training classes and service those products with the ability to request assistance when necessary to meet customer demands. Follow proper call handling procedures while maintaining minimum productivity measures per internal core metrics. Maintain accurate ASL truck inventory for designated territory and train customers on basic printing, scanning and copying functions. Accurately and timely complete weekly timesheets and expense reports. Provide sales support as required (e.g., advising sales on account problems or service leads). Responsibilities Must possess electrical/mechanical aptitude and be familiar with printing from common business applications and graphics programs. Microsoft Windows peer-to-peer and Mac OS client-side of server environments. Excellent time management and prioritization skills; professional appearance and demeanor at all times. Excellent verbal and written communications; strong teamwork and collaboration. Understand territory parts budget and inventory control; basic knowledge of Word and Excel. Assist in creating equipment deployment guides; demonstrate ability to motivate, teach and train co-workers. Solid understanding of networking and diverse graphic software used in the marketplace; ability to convey technical data to customers and sales personnel in understandable terms. Working knowledge of Photoshop, Quark, Publisher. Qualifications Pass background, security and drug test. Position requires use of personal car; eligible for vehicle maintenance compensation program; reliable transportation and valid driver’s license. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. For Internal Applicants Konica Minolta internal certifications: Outward Associate, Outward Professional, Outward Expert (Office Solutions, Network, Color), KMBS Controller (Emperon), Classroom. Minimum of High School diploma or GED required; Technical School training preferred. 4+ years experience related to technical/repair of business equipment.
