Press Brake & Decoiler Technician — MIG Fabrication

Location: Azle, TX

Pay: $18 – $20 per hour

You clock in at 6:00 AM, review the day’s shop orders, and prep your press brake and decoiling equipment for the first run. Tooling is selected, dies are installed, and machine settings are dialed in to hit engineering specs. You pull coil, feed material, and form precise sheet-metal parts, keeping a close eye on tolerances and finish. Between runs, you execute efficient die changes to keep production on schedule.

As parts move through, you complete basic MIG welds to support assemblies, verify dimensions against blueprints, and document output. If a minor issue pops up, you troubleshoot, perform routine maintenance, and keep the line moving safely. Collaboration is constant—you and the team share feedback to improve workflow and reduce downtime. By 2:30 PM, with two paid 10-minute breaks behind you and an 11:00–11:30 AM unpaid lunch in the middle, you’ve delivered high-quality components the first time, every time. Overtime may be required.

• Operate press brake and decoiling equipment to fabricate parts to engineering specifications.
• Set up machines, adjust parameters, and select/install tooling and dies.
• Perform quick die changes to minimize downtime and maintain schedule adherence.
• Execute basic to intermediate MIG welding to support production and assembly.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and shop orders.
• Monitor operations and verify quality throughout the run; inspect finished/welded parts.
• Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshoot minor equipment issues.
• Collaborate to enhance production efficiency and workflow; maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Track output and escalate issues or discrepancies to supervisors.

• Monday–Friday: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
• Unpaid lunch: 11:00 AM – 11:30 AM
• Two paid 10-minute breaks
• Overtime may be required

• High school diploma or equivalent (technical certification in machining, welding, or manufacturing is a plus).
• Experience as a press brake operator and decoiling machine operator (preferred).
• Basic to intermediate MIG welding required; TIG experience is a plus.
• Proficient in reading blueprints and technical documentation.
• Knowledge of tooling setup, die changes, machine calibration, and welding processes.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills; effective independently and on a team.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with firm deadlines.
• Understands and follows manufacturing safety standards and procedures.

• Lift up to 50 pounds.
• Stand for extended periods during shifts.
• Strong hand–eye coordination and manual dexterity for machine operation and welding.

• Jeans or long pants.
