Job Title Inspector/Packer – Ashland, Ohio, United States Shift & Pay Shift: Afternoon Shift Premium: $2.00 Pay Rate: $18.50 per hour Position Overview The primary function of the Inspector/Packer is inspecting and packing bags to maintain safety, quality, and productivity standards. Essential Functions & Responsibilities Responsible for scrap, efficiency, and product quality on product line. Inspect and packet quality bags into box/tote per bag specifications. Ensure that box/tote counts are accurate as per bag specification. Maintain quality standards and report suspect or defective product for review. Work as a team with others assigned to machine, including helping operators as needed. Practice 5S, Good Housekeeping, and Machine Sanitation per company standards. Learn to pack all bag specifications on all machines in production facility. Complete all documentation completely and accurately. Assist in the training of other Inspector/Packer personnel. Other responsibilities and projects as assigned. Qualifications Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Experience: No previous experience required; on‑job training provided. Specific Skills: Attention to detail, ability to work in a fast‑paced environment. Equipment & Machinery: Pallet jack. Computer Experience & Software: Basic computer skills.
