Job Description & Requirements MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Bangor, Maine. This travel assignment is 13 weeks, 36 hours per week, 12‑hour night shifts. Specialty: Labor and Delivery Discipline: RN Start Date: 06/02/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Requirements Active RN license Degree from an accredited nursing program BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS AWHONN certifications At least 18 months of recent experience in an acute care Labor & Delivery setting Other client‑specific requirements as determined by the facility Duties & Responsibilities Labor and Delivery nurses care for women and their newborns during ante‑partum, intrat‑partum, postpartum, and neonatal stages, monitoring vital signs, managing potential high‑risk situations, and providing education and support to mothers and families. Provide perinatal nursing care in L&D units. Monitor maternal and infant vital signs during birth. Identify and respond to potential high‑risk problems. Educate and support mothers and their families after delivery.
