Insurance Agent

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and customer‑focused Insurance Agent to join our brokerage team. The ideal candidate will assist clients in finding the best insurance solutions by quoting, selling, and servicing personal and/or commercial insurance policies. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. Responsibilities Quote insurance policies with multiple carriers to provide competitive coverage options. Sell personal and commercial insurance products to new and existing clients. Service policyholders by processing endorsements, renewals, cancellations, and policy changes. Explain coverage options, policy terms, and insurance recommendations to clients. Assist clients with billing inquiries and general account support. Maintain accurate client records and documentation. Follow up on leads, referrals, and renewal opportunities. Build and maintain strong client relationships to promote retention and cross‑selling opportunities. Ensure compliance with agency procedures and insurance regulations. Qualifications Active Limited Lines or Property & Casualty Insurance License. Previous insurance agency, brokerage, sales, or customer service experience preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Proficiency with computers and agency management systems.
