Overview Mid-Shift Diesel Tech / Truck Technician | Monday – Friday: 1pm-9pm | $27+ per hour (depending on experience) | PLUS $2 per hour Shift Differential Pay | Up To $1,500 Hiring Bonus Our Clarke Vehicare team is seeking an experienced Truck Mechanic - Mobile Service Truck Diesel Technician to support safety and customer service on the mid shift. The Technician will perform truck repair and maintenance in accordance with factory and industry standards, run diagnostics on vehicles, and collaborate with team members to achieve company goals. Responsibilities Performs PMIs on tractors, trailers and other diesel-powered equipment. Conducts brake, steering & suspension, drive train, electrical, A/C, and engine repairs. Test drives vehicles under 26,000 GVW. Assists other technicians when needed. Physical and Safety Requirements Move frequently, stand, walk, and sit; use hands to touch, handle, and feel; reach with hands and arms. Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs and occasionally up to 100 lbs with assistance. Implement and enforce health and safety rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and prescribed instructions. Education and Experience 2–3 years of relevant experience required. Preferred: One year certificate from college or technical school with related repair experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
