Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Job Summary

LJ's Cleaning Solutions is seeking an experienced Facility Maintenance Supervisor to lead a janitorial team and oversee daily cleaning operations. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for supervising staff, ensuring quality standards are met, coordinating schedules, and maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead the daily janitorial team
• Schedule staff and ensure all shifts are covered
• Monitor employee attendance, timekeeping, and performance
• Conduct quality inspections and ensure cleaning standards are met
• Train, coach, and support janitorial staff
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
• Respond to employee questions and resolve concerns
• Communicate with management through email and radio
• Perform hands-on cleaning of offices, restrooms, breakrooms, hallways, and common areas
• Perform floor care, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, scrubbing, and polishing

Requirements

• Valid driver's license required
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in janitorial or custodial services
• 3 years of janitorial or custodial experience preferred
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Working knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
• Comfortable using smartphones, tablets, and computers
• Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and E-Verify
• Flexible to cover shifts as needed
