About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Wound Care Duration: 12 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Required licensure for practice Certifications: BLS, WOCN, CWS (if applicable) Must-Have: Experience with wound care management Description: Unit details include weekend shifts every other weekend unless specified. No call requirements. Floating may occur within facility/ scope of practice and to outpatient as needed. Compliance with full requirements is mandatory for timely start. If not compliant in time, delays of up to 2 weeks may occur due to orientation scheduling. Travelers are expected to work on major holidays if they fall during the assignment period. If two major holidays occur, the traveler is anticipated to work both. If three major holidays occur, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays. Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's. All compliance documents must be submitted in a timely manner, well ahead of assignment start. Module completion is required during orientation and varies by specialty. Documentation of completed modules will be recorded. Candidates must exhibit skills in areas such as infection control, patient teaching, pain management, and various wound care techniques. Experience in charting systems is preferred. Experience in related settings is beneficial, including long-term acute care. Travel experience is desired but not required. Candidates will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient care.
