Job Details Role: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) Setting: Emergency Department / Emergency Room Location: Asheville, North Carolina 28801 Assignment Length: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour nights Hours Per Week: 36 Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,230 - $1,300 Start Date: 09/14/2026 Schedule Notes: Every other weekend required; flexibility needed to support departmental scheduling needs Documentation System: Cerner Environment: High-volume ED with approximately 101 beds and a fast-paced, collaborative team Job Requirements Active RN license Minimum 2 years of nursing experience At least 1 year of recent Emergency Department nursing experience Experience in a high-acuity, fast-paced clinical setting Strong teamwork mindset and the ability to give and receive real-time feedback Comfort working across all areas of the Emergency Department Required certifications before start: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, and NIHSS ENPC required within 90 days of hire Responsibilities Provide direct, compassionate care to emergency patients across a wide range of acuity levels Assess, monitor, and respond to patient needs in a fast-paced ER and ED environment Collaborate with physicians, techs, clerks, and the broader healthcare team to support efficient patient flow Deliver excellent patient experiences using respectful communication and AIDET principles Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic health record using Cerner Support a culture of teamwork, adaptability, and high-quality emergency nursing care Remain flexible to float within different sections of the Emergency Department as needed Apply now for this Emergency Room RN travel nursing opportunity in Asheville, North Carolina, and join a collaborative healthcare team today.
