Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner

Coverage Needed :

• Start Date: As soon as credentialed
• End Date: Ongoing
• 10-12 shifts per month
• Shifts do not need to be consecutive but must be willing to work 60-120 hours a month
• Current Shifts: 6:00am-6:00pm, 9:00am-7:00pm, 12:00am-10:00pm, 6:00pm-6:00am
  • All shifts will go to 12 hours during Summer

Clinical Details :

• APP will see 1.7 patients/hour on average
• Current average 155 patients per day in the department
  • Includes a pediatric average of 30 patients per day
• Admission rate is 25%
• Facility average is 1.55 patients per hour per provider
• Approximately 55,000 patients per year
• Support Staff: 42 hours a day of physician coverage

Requirements :

• Flexibility in Schedule:
  • Provider MUST be willing to work day AND night shifts
  • Provider MUST be willing to work weekdays AND weekends
• Providers living inside of 50 miles from the facility will be considered 'Local', and will not be eligible for this role
• Active FL license
• Temps available with clean file
• Emergency Room experience (ideally level 2 or greater)
• Must have a minimum of 1 year experience (2 preferred)
