Registered Nurse - Med/Surg Telemetry

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift, 3 - 12 hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

Job Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with substantial Med/Surg Telemetry experience. This role requires a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patient conditions in a telemetry unit.
• Administer medications and treatments as per protocols.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during their stay.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide optimal patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Participate in patient education and discharge planning.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 18 months recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required.
• Must have a permanent Ohio nursing license or a compact license in hand at the time of submission.
• Current BLS & ACLS certifications are required.
• Must obtain NIH certification prior to start.
• Epic experience is a must.
• One recent reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for is required.
